जैसे-जैसे हम पढ़ते हैं, हमें पुस्तकों का आनंद मिलता है;
वैसे-ही-वैसे गुणी लोगों की संगति में आनंद बढ़ता है।
जैसे-जैसे हम अधिक पढ़ते हैं, हमें पुस्तकों का ज्ञान और आनंद मिलता है; उसी प्रकार, गुणी लोगों के साथ मित्रता समय के साथ और गहरी और आनंददायक होती जाती है।

Like the pleasure derived from learning, the more one cultivates
The friendship of the noble, the more delight it creates.
The more one learns, the more one perceives one's ignorance; similarly, the more one cultivates the friendship of the worthy, the more one perceives one's own unworthiness.
