அன்பின் வழியது உயிர்நிலை அஃதிலார்க்கு
என்புதோல் போர்த்த உடம்பு.
அன்போடு பொருந்திய உடம்பே உயிர்நிலை பெற்றதாகும். அன்பு இல்லாதவர்க்கு உள்ள உடம்பு, வெறும் எலும்பைத் தோல் போர்த்திய பிணமே.

प्रेम के मार्ग पर चलने वाला शरीर ही जीवित है;
प्रेमहीनों के लिए यह केवल हड्डियों पर चमड़ी का आवरण है।
प्रेम के मार्ग पर चलने वाला शरीर ही वास्तव में जीवित है; जिनके पास प्रेम नहीं है, उनका शरीर केवल हड्डियों पर चमड़ी का एक खोल है।

The body of the loveless is but a framework of bones
Covered with skin; the seat of life is love alone.
The living soul has its seat in love; for those who are without it, the body is but a frame of bones clad with skin.
